In the final installment of our 4 part series covering Legionella and its prevention, we review the initial steps for determining a Legionella water treatment protocol and water management plan. Water treatment assessments will conclude the reasonable risk associated with your water treatment tower. If your tower has been properly maintained and managed, it may not require any changes. In other cases, lack of preventative maintenance and unscheduled inspections will determine the severity of Legionella growth and other contamination.
